Woman performing rehabilitative exercise for a sports injury

Focus on your Rehabilitation

Sports injuries come with the territory for athletes and active people. No matter the sport, we know the types of injuries our athletes encounter and how to best recover from them. Your doctor has worked for years with professional athletes, and is highly experienced in treating a variety of sports injuries.

Every athlete's goal is to reduce the amount of time on the sideline. That's our goal too, and a return to activity as quickly and safely as possible is our priority.

In your appointment we'll ask you questions related to how your sports injuries occurred. We'll ask you to demonstrate movements and techniques in your particular sport. Your treatment plan will include steps to reduce pain and inflammation and regain any lost range of motion and strength, so you can return to your sport at a pre-injury performance level, or better.

Sports Injuries Services

Treatment typically includes three phases: soft tissue therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and rehab exercise. There may be more or fewer services depending on your condition discovered during the exam. The first two phases occur in the treatment room, and the rehab exercise takes place in our office gym.

These services cover problems including:
  Overuse injuries and tendonitis
Muscle tears, tendon and ligament sprains
Knee damage, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, and foot injuries
Shoulder injuries, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, hand and wrist pain

We also have a vast network of healthcare professionals, so if necessary, we can consult with another specialist. Our building contains 20+ orthopedic surgeons specializing in a different part of the body. We have radiologists in-house in case your condition requires further diagnostic imaging. Give us a call or schedule online to begin your rehabilitation and get back to playing your best.
